A Leadership Academy is created when a local church partners with MSO to raise up ministry leaders. We call them XLAs because anything can go in the “X”! Your local church, partnering with MSO can have a Leadership Academy that raises up Spirit-empowered, biblically trained leaders just like TEMPLE ROCK LEADERSHIP ACADEMY in Newark, NJ.

Because MSO offers courses on a semester schedule, your XLA could begin in the Fall (September), the Spring (January), or the Summer (May). Whenever works best for you.

We have found that having a director of your program - other than the lead pastor - is very helpful. This person communicates with the MSO team, and serves to inform and encourage the students in your program.

The beautiful thing about MSO is that is doesn’t need to cost the church anything! Your students will pay the affordable tuition to the church, and the church will pass it on to MSO in one payment each semester.

When a church has 10 or more students, MSO lowers the price per course from $347 to $325.

Students will pay the church for courses taken. The church will then make one payment for the semester to MSO for all courses taken by their students.

No, there are no educational requirements for individuals applying to MSO. Students that are at least Juniors in high school are able to transfer credits taken to colleges and universities that we partner with for credit transfers.
